I love this pattern mostly because it is soooooo old. It has been handed down from woman to woman for hundreds of years. Many people alter it to call it their own – that fine. This is a pattern that can be done with thick rougher yarn to be used in the kitchen or soft fluffy yarn to be used in a child’s room for toys.
The small one used Loops and Threads Rainbow Baby yarn. I don’t know what yarn I used for the larger baskets, but it used a size 8 hook. And if you want to make it even bigger, just keep making rounds and re-work the math. ( [sc 6, inc] x6, [sc 7, inc] x6 and so on )
