Izzy Doll Crochet Pattern #IzzyDolls

I’ll be honest, when I first saw these Izzy Dolls – I was polite.
Typically, they’re knit and I didn’t want to discourage knitters – I mean, knitting is limited and everything looks like a sweater. Then crocheters starting making them …. tens of thousands of patterns out there and crocheters jump on this bandwegan? I don’t understand, BUT you asked for a pattern – so here it is.

Please keep in mind the Izzy Dolls are either made flat and sewn up the side or a tube. This one is a Tube. You start out making a ball and just make a tube – changing colors every so many rounds. If you wanted, you could make several decrease rounds at the chin, but I was going for authentic as possible.

I matched the amount of rows of each color with the most popular Izzy Doll knit patterns, but I did it in rounds because – let’s be honest – no one likes to turn!
